David Kelsey has been a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner for over 12 years and previously ran a successful practice in Great Chesterford near Cambridge. On moving to the city he needed a new website to promote his services.
brief
Create something simple but with a depth of content to include research links, Q&A about herbs, and a diary from a patient about the experience of having Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
solution
Inspired by chinese traditional art a white and sepia toned design that could be complemented by this art was created.
The design template features clear section navigation, with animated colour coded buttons to indicate site location.
The use of a central area and right hand column allows related copy and featured items to appear alongside the main copy, leading visitors on a natural journey through layers of information about TCM, Acupuncture, David, and patient experience and results.
The site features search-engine optimised page names, page titles, metaname descriptions and keywords, all researcedh and analysed before the site as built. this approach ensures optimum search engine performance.
